Enjoyed the first few Gold Nuggets about integrating Social Media Into your corporate Event? Well here are a few more that will make all the effort that was put into Event Management and  event Theming really Pay off:

Hashtag

With every online post, add a hashtag along with it. This will encourage all your attendees to utilise your hashtags and you can keep track of everyone who talks about your event on the social media platform. This can also be promoted at the event to keep conversations going around hot topics.

Signing In

At the event location, have posters getting people to sign into the location through their social media profile. Get a Foursquare/ Facebook or Instagram event in place, so attendees can interlink their social profiles to it.

Going Live

The best way to integrate social media during the event is to keep it live. regularly post updates, short videos and pictures up. This is a fantastic way not only to interact with those who are missing out on the event, but those who are currently attending it. Encourage attendees to do the same by posting Instagram and twitter feeds right to the big screen

Video Streaming

Consider doing live web streaming of event. not only will it capture the valuable information for attendees to review but also allow for a whole new worldwide attendee list

You have sorted out the Event management and have an Audio Visual Solution but have you ever wondered how to integrate social media into your next corporate conference, and we are not just talking about creating a hashtag and a Facebook site and calling it a success.

When you are organizing a conference or event, there are a number of ways to make social media work for you and even generate a greater ROI. Creating this social network not only creates an awareness and buzz about the event, but gets more people to attend it also, and better yet there is very limited cost to do so.

Here are a few ideas that you can do with social media for your event.

@ Registration

Most social media  allows you create an event and let people join /share/ communicate or follow. Having your delegates join these groups will start to spread the word to their followers and start the conversation and networking even before the event has happened, as well as let you spread updates and alerts easily.

Create Anticipation

Start discussions and polls on the topics at your event, Get people thinking about the subject matter and get their opinions early so Speakers can cover all aspects on what the delegates want to hear, creating more value and a better conference
